Café · Södermalm · Since 2013

On a clear day in June the terrace has sun 10:10–13:00, about 3 hours in total. In short: sun at lunch.

The story of Pom & Flora

Pom & Flora was founded in Stockholm in 2013 by Rasmus and Anna Axelsson. The idea was a breakfast place serving breakfast all day, with no bookings: first come, first served.

The café at Bondegatan 64 on Södermalm is one of three in central Stockholm, alongside Odengatan and Rörstrandsgatan. The menu runs to scrambled eggs, porridge, rye bread, and yoghurt and açaí bowls.

Sol vid lunch, according to Stoligt

Times look wrong, for example because the terrace is on the other side of the building? Fix the location in OpenStreetMap and Stoligt will follow at the next update.

How Stoligt works it out

Every ten minutes we draw a line from each terrace toward the sun and check whether a building or hill is tall enough to block it. Building heights come from OpenStreetMap and ground heights from Lantmäteriet, the Swedish mapping agency. The times assume a clear day, so clouds are not included here. They are on the live map, which shows today's weather.

Trees, parasols and awnings are not in the model, and we don't know exactly where on the pavement the tables stand. Treat the times as an educated guess, often accurate to within ten minutes.
