Nybroe Smørrebrød has served Danish open sandwiches in Östermalmshallen since 2004. The idea was to bring smørrebrød to Sweden: the founder saw a kinship between the Swedish love of sandwiches and the Danish cold lunch.
When the renovated market hall reopened, Nybroe moved into the new premises in March 2020, and it later opened a second counter in Hötorgshallen. The smørrebrød comes with beer imported from Copenhagen, and a snaps if you like.
Sun on the terrace on a clear day in the middle of the month. Yellow is sun, light blue is daylight but shade.

About the terrace
According to the City of Stockholm, Nybroe smørrebrød holds a permit for a terrace of about 30 m² at Nybrogatan 31. The permit runs 1 April 2026 to 1 January 2027. The first permit in the city's register is from 2021.

Times look wrong, for example because the terrace is on the other side of the building? Fix the location in OpenStreetMap and Stoligt will follow at the next update.
How Stoligt works it out
Every ten minutes we draw a line from each terrace toward the sun and check whether a building or hill is tall enough to block it. Building heights come from OpenStreetMap and ground heights from Lantmäteriet, the Swedish mapping agency. The times assume a clear day, so clouds are not included here. They are on the live map, which shows today's weather.
Trees, parasols and awnings are not in the model, and we don't know exactly where on the pavement the tables stand. Treat the times as an educated guess, often accurate to within ten minutes.
