The story of Tyrol

Tyrol is the main restaurant at Gröna Lund, inside the amusement park on Södra Djurgården. It opened in the 1930s and serves food and drink with a German and Austrian slant.

Tyrol is known for its dinner shows and concerts across many genres, from Povel Ramel and Owe Thörnqvist to hard rock and metal. In the winter of 2016 the room was rebuilt as a Greek taverna for the dinner show Mamma Mia! The Party.

Tyrol's Christmas buffet has been laid out since 1983. According to Gröna Lund, many of the ingredients come from suppliers in Norrland, a good number of them in Vilhelmina.
